نظم مركز التدريب والتعليم المستمر بمستشفى القلب الجامعي تدريب حول مكافحة العدوى لعدد من عمال شركة النظافة، تحت رعاية الدكتور أحمد المنشاوي رئيس الجامعة، والدكتور علاء عطية عميد كلية الطب ورئيس مجلس إدارة المستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور إيهاب فوزي المديرالتنفيذي للمستشفيات الجامعية، والدكتور عصام عبد الله مدير المستشفى، وتحت إشراف الدكتورة صفاء عمران مدير مركز التدريب والتعليم المستمر.
تضمن التدريب شرح لكيفية الوقاية من العدوى أو نقلها، وأهمية غسل اليدين، كما تم الإشارة إلى أهمية استعمال الواقيات الشخصية، بالإضافة إلى إجراء تدريب عن السلامة والصحة المهنية، وتضمن كيفيه الحماية من المخاطر، وكذلك كيفية التعامل الصحيح مع النفايات والواقيات الشخصية.
حاضر في التدريب الدكتورة ألفت فاروق ثابت زميل تمريض باطني وجراحي، والأستاذ أشرف قطب أخصائي السلامة والصحة المهنية.
Assiut University Heart Hospital organizes infection control training for cleaning workers
The Center for Training and Continuing Education at the University Heart Hospital organized a training course on infection control for a number of cleaning company workers. The training was held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Dr. Ehab Fawzy, Executive Director of University Hospitals, and Dr. Essam Abdellah, Director of the Hospital, and under the supervision of Dr. Safaa Omran, Director of the Center for Training and Continuing Education.
The training included explaining how to prevent or transmit infection, the importance of handwashing, and the importance of using personal protective equipment. It also included training on occupational safety and health, covering how to protect yourself from risks and how to properly handle waste and personal protective equipment.
The training was delivered by Dr. Olfat Farouk Thabet, Nursing Fellow, Internal Medicine and Surgery, and Mr. Ashraf Qutb, Occupational Safety and Health Specialist.
